Education:
Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Mathematics Education, Purdue University, 2002
M.S. in mathematics with an outside specialization in mathematics education, Colorado State University, 1999
B.S. in mathematics with concentration in actuarial sciences, Colorado State University, 1997

Research Interests:
My research is in mathematics education. My objective is to study how to increase teachers’ mathematical knowledge as well as their abilities to teach mathematics. This includes pre-service teachers (undergraduates) as well as in-service teachers.
