Dr. Polyakov joined the UW faculty in 1993. Before coming to UW, Dr. Polyakov worked in private industry (Kodak, Xerox) and at the Department of Mathematical Sciences of the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Dr. Polyakov's research is in the theory of functions of several complex variables. |
* I served as acting Department Head in Mathematics for the 2001/2002 academic year.
* In 1999 - 2001 I served as a Program Officer for the Analysis Program of the Division of Mathematical Sciences at the National Science Foundation.
