General Requirements

The core requirements for a math major are listed in the following table. If you are interested in a particular track of math, there are suggested curricula for various concentrations provided through the link below.

Calculus	Math 2200, 2205, 2210	12 hours
Linear Algebra	Math 2250	3 hours
Math Majors Seminar	Math 2800 or 2850	2 hours
Programming	typically Cosc 1010 or 1030	4 hours
Upper-division Math electives	7of Math 2310 or Math 3000+ level	21 hours
Upper-division Math Content electives	2 3000+ level	6 hours
Total		48 hours
