These scholarships are awarded each spring semester in conjunction with Math Awareness Week. There is no application process. Recipients are chosen by a faculty scholarship committee. Awards are based on number of courses taken, GPA and financial need. Scholarships amount vary each year depending on scholarship funds but ususally range from $300-$600.
William Bridges Memorial
Scholarship Applicant must be a freshman or sophomore student enrolled in the College of Arts & Sciences who has declared math as a major.
Theresa Britschgi Memorial Scholarhsip Applicant must be majoring in mathematics. Dr. Ray J. Hanna Scholarship Applicant must be a current math
major, have a grade point average of 3.0 or better and be a Howard H. Heady Scholarship Applicant must be of sophomore,
junior or senior standing, majoring in mathematics in the College of Arts
& Sciences and must be a resident of Robert H. LaGrange Memorial Scholarship Applicant must be majoring in mathematics. Greta Neubauer
Mathematics Scholarship
Applicant must be a full-time, female student majoring in mathematics. Primary consideration shall be given to academic performance and secondary consideration to financial need. Ottis H. Rechard Award Award given to an outstanding student with a declared math major with preference given to a student who will be a senior in the next year.
