The first two years of college is the time when a student is likely to decide that mathematics is for them, and declare a math major. The math courses you take during this time are Calculus and Linear Algebra. These courses are taken by a wide variety of students, from engineers and computer science majors, to social scientists and those who are undecided about a major. As a math major, you should also take one of the seminar courses during your first two years.
What's in these courses? Why do you need to take them?
